I heard that they aren't bredding Saint Benards anymore? I've always wanted a golden lab or retriever..so lovable!

That's news to me, but I would be happy with a mix. To make matters worse, I visited the BIG DOGS store today at Jackson Outlets

do you think St Bernards were some how related to a St. Bernard? I dont remember ever learning about A ST. Bernard, I know St. Frances is the patron St. of animals, thats my middle name but is not es.

We've been trying for a big dog for the longest time now, We've done the applications for a few but frankly we've been very dissapointed by the lack of response from some of the shelters, We'd like either a bullmastiff, Cane Corso or a Rottweiler but nothing yet. We do have a friend who's trying to breed bullmastiff but the male dog he got is not ready to mount the female, so we just still wait. In the meantime DW has fallen in love w/ some bulldogs and we've got a potential to getting 2 (right now, we're looking at 4) but we will have to make a decision as to which pair we'll take.
