Guilty. I really want a big dog. English Mastif/Cane Corso/Saint Bernard/Weimeriener etc
I want to adopt a puppy from a shelter or a breeder (I have heard of breeders giving away less than perfect puppies).
I've just started searching Pet Finder and found one Cane Corso mix but she is in a Southern State and therefore, I anticipate a very expensive transport fee involved
And so my search continues.......
I think I'll say a little prayer and wish on the next shooting star I see in my backyard.
I heard that they aren't bredding Saint Benards anymore? I've always wanted a golden lab or retriever..so lovable!
Thanks Kate-she doesn't act 9 years old either. She is wild and runs around like a maniac. She was real skinny before we adopted her- we need to put some weight on her!
she's a stunner nicole! reminds me of my chuckie, love tabbies!
az - you're two remind me of my current grouchy black guy and chuckie - beautiful!

We've been trying for a big dog for the longest time now, We've done the applications for a few but frankly we've been very dissapointed by the lack of response from some of the shelters, We'd like either a bullmastiff, Cane Corso or a Rottweiler but nothing yet. We do have a friend who's trying to breed bullmastiff but the male dog he got is not ready to mount the female, so we just still wait. In the meantime DW has fallen in love w/ some bulldogs and we've got a potential to getting 2 (right now, we're looking at 4) but we will have to make a decision as to which pair we'll take.
