Plenty of oil!!
Wiley go back..read the history on the Congo back when it was the Belgium Congo..read what they did when they gained independence from Belgium, not saying that under belgium rule the natives fared well.

The coup in 1965, when Mobutu seized power with the west as his ally, he turned out to be just another despot

Wiley this has been going on since before you were born. The UN has been actively trying to secure peace in the Congo since before you were born

It's very sad, but no one cares. No one cares about woman, children, human rights violations...nothing. It's really an awful world we live in. Goverments, be it national or UN, etc seem pretty unwilling to do anything or inept in getting things done. It's very depressing.

I remember seeing how awful the women were treated by the Taliban long before 9/11, but no one gave a damn. See what that brought on.

Sadly, we can't even patrol America.
Don't get me started on the lenient sentences handed out to rapists and child molesters....
