This is interesting. I was sure I was told in high school the next in line after President is Secretary of State - did this change in the last 15 years?

I got 16 right - do I get to remain a citizen? If it were not multiple choice I probably would have gotten only 10 correct.

I scored 19/19 correct. I thought citizenship tests were more difficult than that. Have they been changed/made easier? I mean come on-first president of the US? Number of senators? Current speaker of the house? Aren't those things common knowledge? I would hope potential citizens would know more about our history that that.

I hope that is just part of the test. I thought potential citizens needed to know more about how our government worked and our history.

The citizen test was much more easy than that when I took it in 1990. First question. "How many years of school did you attended in the US?"..then "Are you currently in college"?, "Please read the following paragraph".

You passed.

Now when I got the book to study, they have questions in there much harder than the one in this link. There were lots more local government question (which makes sense). I am sure the person administering the test uses their professional judgement based on who is taking the test.

I also find it ridiculous that some place allow for a translator when taking the test.

OK - 19/19 BUT the US government being accountable to the people is really a joke - I just knew it was what they wanted! LOL
