Did a drive today, great and beautiful area!!! However here is the question, whats close or pretty close to go out and grab some groceries, soda, beer??? I mean its great there but anything close to it to shop. I dont mean clothes I mean staples. Thanks, and your very lucky to live there!!! Thanks
About 10-15 north on 517 you come into Hackettstown. 2 supermarkets/Home Depot/everything you could want. Even gots one of them buildings that play the talkin pictures
10-15 to the east is Chester .
thanks, yes its a wonderful little tuck away area, and beautiful! I always thought it was flat farm land, boy was I wrong. A view from a hill in all directions, really a little wonderland. Honestly you could think your in Vermont in that area!!!
I love that entire area. When I first moved to NJ I had a motorcyle and "discovered" it when I was out getting familiar with my new state.
funny you should say that I know a lot of bikers and guess what they are so out of touch, they love Pine Island to motorcycle too!!! I always tell them get out to the best parts of NJ, your right DOC!!! Land is unbelievable, beautiful land!!!! Totally undestroyed or clear cut. Trees are something else, little Vermont! By the way pine island no way!!! Bad decerated farm land.
who cares about money???? Its the land, TARA as Scarlet would say!
I wish some of you would experience the PNW. I do love the Warren & Sussex county area for its very nice & beautiful but I must admit that there's no comparison to the PNW.
ok I'm awake....yawn... please tell me what is PNW?
and as for Tewksbury..I recall a wine festival there years ago. Very beautiful country and very good wine. Now that's a nice place in NJ to retire and watch the grass grow.
