restores your faith in humanity, ya know? we could use more stories like this, especially now.
The people my aunt worked with did the same thing when she was dying of breast cancer. She was out of work for over a year before she passed away.

But overall the people banded together! was not like *********, you have only been here 2 years me 10. Its kinda nice.
Hubby's company just took on drivers that would have lost their job and from the way it looks, some of the guys aren't exactly thankful. Maybe more people should read this post. Banding together like that was a really great idea.

I have to say..as a small business owner - it's times like this when you find who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. 1st quarter and 2nd quarter of 08 were a bit tight for us... a few of my vendors hung in there with us and let us slide past the 30 day payment rule. I will remember who was there for us and who wasn't! It was mostly the little guys and now that we are busy again..they are getting all of our business! The worst one was Tilcon..mega gazillionairs hounding little businesses with small APs - I actually told the woman..."if you have to hound us for a measly $2000.. you must be in trouble! Don't you have bigger fish to fry???" The woman is a biotch that handles their AR dept. Always starts her messages with "ok, this is Ann"..so of course whenever I leave her a message or send her a fax..I always ask for or address my fax with can I speak to or attn: "Ok this is Ann..." lol - I'm such a wise arse!
