Hi

I'm moving to NJ in about four weeks and I currently have two rooms to choose from (roommate situation, shared bathroom).

Rodney Ave, Somerset
Senior St, New Brunswick

I haven't seen the places in person, but Rodney Ave looks like a really nice area on google maps. It's about $125 more expensive than the one on Senior St. Is the location worth the extra money? I'll be working at Raritan Center in Edison. Any idea what traffic is gonna be like going to/from work? I've checked out Highland Park & Edison as well, but haven't found anything as of yet.

Thanks a lot in advance

Senior Street in NB is just that, the street where lots of seniors who attend RU live.

Rodney Avenue is probably a better option as long as you aren't going to school at RU. Traffic from both places will be hectic during commuting time, especially if you are thinking of taking Easton Avenue to I-287 to get to Raritan Center.
