Relocation to New Jersey (Newark, Fair Lawn: condo, townhomes, neighborhoods)

-Will be working near the new New York Giants Stadium in East Rutherford
-One child in last year of High School then entering college
-Family of 3 (total), and a bird as a pet, no others.

I can't be more than 30-35 minutes (total commute) from above area. We would desire to live in nice quiet area with good schools, neighborhoods and decent shooping.

$450,000 range 2-3 bedroom condo (1750 sq ft.), maybe single family home.

Does anyone have city recommendations? I hear North of East Rutherford is nice; perhaps Fair Lawn for example.

I would appreciate any and all feedback.

Before you mentioned Fair Lawn at the bottom of your post, I already had it in mind, LOL. It seems to fit what you're looking for. Other towns to look at would be Rutherford, Hasbrouck Heights, and Nutley. Good Luck!

Most of Wood Ridge is decent. HH is nice. E Rutherford is hot because of the train station. You have to go well south to hit hard ghetto (Newark) or north for "eh" areas.
