Nice and quaint town, and if you have children the school system is good. The high school is part of the Northern Valley regional school system which is highly rated.

* I think Harrington Park is the best out of all: nice, quiet, direct bus service to George Washington Bridge, 41st Port Authority, through buses 14, 20, 84L, 84E (Harrington Park Express).
The bus station is the large overhang of the HP Police, very safe. The the small, nice old charm town is right across from it cut in half by train tracks. There are 2 or 3 family-run convenient stores. One of them is literally across the street from the police station. The water comes from a freshwater reservoir from the United Water Company, based in Harrington Park. In HP, there is only one fine restaurant, the family-owned Dino's (used to be called the Roman Cafe). HP is only a 15-25 min drive form Uptown GW Bridge Manhattan, and the supermarket is Shoprite located 5 min. away or less in Emerson. The school is a Pre-K thru 8th grade school, very nice, renovates, and wheelchair accesible. Then you go to NVOT. In Closer, there is a bigger noisier town, mostly consisting of stores (retain), and Asian Restaurants , you like Korean? Anywhere in N. Bergen County are high class citizens and 15%-30% are Asian population. Overall, I think that Harrington Park is the best place to live.
