Socialism has never worked. No men are equal.

nope, capitalism works when private industry are left alone. When their greed matches our greed. The wealth always trickles down from rich to poor and never in the other direction. Reagan was absolutely correct. The democrats invented social security and other welfare programs and forever ensured their party's future is safe.

And , I do not believe in utopia. even that word is an imaginary place that does not really exists. i doubt many people know that when plato (gee or was it socrates?) spoke about it.

Reagan was brain-dead when he took the oath of office, and he is the # 1 reason we're in this mess.

Even right-wing conservatives have admitted that there was too much deregulation, which directly led to our current state... and yet you espouse more of the same.

the only thing that trickled down was the urine of the super-rich unto the heads of the rest of us

A lot of reasons were mentioned but I say this one is the most accurate.

McGreevey certainly wasn't perfect, but his policies resulted in my auto insurance premiums now being almost half of what they were in 2000.

you remember the 90's, right ? insurers wanting to leave the state, not being able to get coverage...

now, new insurers coming in, and advertising on TV for heaven's sake !

after property taxes, the next highest expenditure we face is auto insurance.

...no, wait -- auto ins. is no longer # 2, thanks to Jim.

in their 16 years in office, neither Kean nor Whitman were able to do that !
