you're welcome.

We have 3 foreign cars - toyota, honda, nissan. i've owned american over the past 20 years with nothing but disappointment. it will be a long time before i own another one unfortunately. if a gun was held to my head and i had to pick an american one - i'd pick the pontiac vibe, a toyota matrix clone.

You won't find that information by polling on here. Poll respondents are not a random sample of car owners.

there's a lot more to this though.

just because its a chevy doesnt mean its domestic
and just because its a toyota doesn't mean its from japan.

What is more "domestic" - a chevy made in mexico or toyota made in USA?

However, I guess, a dodge made in Mexico is made of US parts. Toyota made in USA is made of japanese parts????? i have no clue.

i drive a mexican VW.

Both of mine per the window sticker were made entirely in the US
I don't know where the hell my next Jeep will be made, depends on what Chrysler does with it. All though it's Chrysler's biggest selling line...JEEP

Two foreign: one toyota, one nissan...resale value, reliability factor big, although the nissan is way below the toyota IMO.

Next vehicle is probably going to be foreign too: either a Lexus GS or my dream car, a Land Cruiser, although it's too darn expensive AND uses fuel like there's no tomorrow.

well how about this:

i said 62% of New Jerseyans drive a foreign made car. The average NJ family owns about 2 cars. People from NJ spend about $30,000-$40,000 on cars. The most common brands driven in NJ being Honda, Toyota, and Ford.

^sounds legitimate, right? that's what I wrote on my report.
Well, did u just make this stuff up? Kinda sounds like you did.

I own the only second car in the neighborhood that was foreign made, when I was the only foreign auto owner, I was reminded of it weekly by neighbors.
When they had recalls, all I had to do was change the oil.
