I'm moving to Fanwood, NJ in about a month's time and wondering if there is a park and ride facility near Fanwood.

Can some one can throw ideas on the best way to commute to Mid town , NY?

Appreciate your time.

Siva

There's no park and ride, but you can take the bus from Fanwood directly into Port Authority in Midtown West.

Thanks. I realized that there is a bus from Fanwood to Port Authority. However, my house is a mile from the bus stop. Thus wondering, where to find parking.

You can park your car at the Fanwood parking lot right near the train station for $5 daily. Otherwise you would need a permit. Where about is your house? I ask because NJtransit does have buses runing through some r main roads.

There are also many sides streets you can park on and walk a short distance to train or bus. Not advertised obviously, but you can find them...
