I've always said that I'd never live in Seattle because it just rains way too much there. However, after this June in NJ, I'm wondering if that's a valid excuse!!! What's with all this stinkin' RAIN??!?!!!??

People in Seattle are a lot more spiritual and the air is very fresh compared to here. But somehow it doesn't matter to me.

Believe it or not, it acutally rain more on average over here, than it does in Seattle. It is just that in the fall and winter, it is cloudy for the most part, and it drizzle a couple a times a week.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah....let it rain, I rather have rain and temp's in the mid 70's to low 80's instead of the HHH. I've enjoyed the rain, the temps, the green lawn. I haven't even used my A/C yet this summer.

I would say you will live longer if you live in Seattle lol .The air seems better there than here. My family was sick off and on the first year we moved here... good ole NJ! Allergies are ridiculous here too!Never seen anything like it. I think if I was born here I would be dead by now.

For me it's the opposite, if I were born in Seattle I'd be dead by now, out of depression. I don't think the air is all that much worse here. I never have allergies and I was born here and have lived here most of my life.

My point was that our weather in NJ has been miserable this summer, it's rained for something like 36 of the last 40 days. I believe we do get more rain/snow fall in NJ than they get in Seattle, but typically we'd get a day or two of nonstop rain and then a string of beautiful days. This year is more like Seattle, where it's very depressing with almost all overcast, grey days.

It's really ridiculous, this weather.

Yes, but this is an oddity for NJ...........We usually have wonderful summers. We can swim at our NJ shores. I lived in both states........and at one point by Seattle. I would put on my suit and try to go swimming in July and Aug....... That did not work. It is too cold and damp........
I doubt we will ever have a summer like this again........In Seattle however, you can expect this.

Amen to that. Summers up here are disgusting. Too damn hot and humid. Add in all the people and cars, and it is a nightmare.
