Hi there, was wondering if anyone had any insight...

Been looking in all the burroughs for a place below 1200 a month.
Finding some but Im also trying to find the best commute.
A little Trickier:

I never considered New Jersey before and I am finding, finally some realisktic rents (below 1200)

I know very little about New Jersey,,,where does the train cross?
(across from penn station?)

what parts of New Jersey are a reasonable commute (mine being under 25 to midtown imanhattan-or is that unreasonable?).

Union City
Weehawken
Hoboken
Jersey City?

these areas pop up but
---------
whats the catch?
Where does the train cross?
How do you get home late at night (after 12am)?
Is it desolate? Safe?

People don't seem to rush to recommend NJ as an alternative to Burroughs,
but it seems like a possible one.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!

OH wow-
I just did a search and I see a lot of postings..

try the New York forum, Rockland County, there's a town called Pearl River with tons of Irish immigrants, someone is bound to hire you as a waitress or caterer. Once you're here in the US you can take your shot at modeling gigs. Good luck.
