Hi there,
I am hoping to get some info from someone who lives in jersey city and is familiar with Winfield ave (and not from 10 years ago thanks). Me and my boyfriend are set to sign lease papers tomorow and when we checked out the street, it seemed very quiet. But then I came across postings saying that Greenville is absolutely the worst area to be in.
Now we have a car so we don't need to be walking all over the area but we do need to walk along our street and then the 5 or so blocks down to the Danforth Ave light rail stop (we go to the city alot). Other then that we can drive to nicer areas to do anything else.
I know that on a whole Greenville is not safe, but sometimes in bad areas there a little pockets that are perfectly safe and quiet. So is there anyone who knows if Winfield and the way to the Danforth Station would happen to be one of those lucky areas?

Thanks to anyone who could help me figure this out!

Its pretty chill there since ur right next to the cemetery. don't believe the hype Greenville is many things and downtown JC was worst than Greenville in the 80's Greenville is moving forward especially along the light-rail stations.
