I know it seems like a stupid question, because the answer should be no.

You are required to carry ID with you. If you don't have ID, can they arrest you?
have you ever been to the dmv? you need to practically bring your life story with you

is it wrong to target a specific race when the vast majority of illegal immigrants are hispanic?

its not like you would even be in this situation unless you commited a crime. If your a hispanic citizen and commit a crime, and dont have a license, you just have to deal with it. shouldnt have commited a crime in the first place

I realize you think the constitution is toilet paper, but it disagrees with you on giving non-citizens rights.

Do you want Hispanic out or illegals out? I not Hispanic but it's funny that it is always the Hispanic first to be on the chopping block.... Do Puerto Rican make you upset too?

puerto ricans are not illegal immigrants.
You are correct there are illegals here from all over the world but unfortunately most know how to stay under the radar and not call attention to themselves unlike many of the hispanics from central america...

But having to carry ID at all times in your own country, is as un-American is you can get. "Papers please".

It's not like the US has never deported a citizen before due to lazy ICE agents, and now the local cops get to do it too. That's going to turn out well.

Problem is then, that vagrancy laws are unconstitutional. Most give police the power to stop and ask ANYONE who they are where they live and what they are doing wherever they currently are. Only recently have some cities start to repeal them. New Jersey, stop idling over old law - The Star-Ledger Editorial Page

If you are being pulled over by the cops for committing a crime (or failure to register or expired inspections, whatever) all the vagrancy stuff flies out the window and your on the hook to provide proof od who you are.

So what is your solution as well as Michigan Man, as far as deporting these people back to their native countries without stepping on the 4th amendment?
Or shall we just let illegals run amok all over the country??

To me there is a huge difference between a non citizen here legally and one here illegally
