Fish market in New Jersey? (Jersey City, Edison: buy, shops, park) - (NJ) - City-Data Forum

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the fish market. Can someone please suggest me where can i buy good and fresh carp fish (not frozen) near Edison, Metropark or somewhat close to jersey city or in between? I am a big fan of carp fish

, i have not seen any fish market yet selling carp. Please help me to find out.

Not certain as I havent been there in a long time- - but the markets all along Railroad ave( Patreson) used to cover all kinds of fruits,vegtables, fresh fish, butcher meats, baked goods,etc,,,, I used to go down early and often years ago ..but with the creation of Corrado,s ,a lot of the shops have left- -
Anyone???

You can find fresh fish in the Asian/Chinese Markets. There is one near edison, the name is Kam Man. Also another one in Jersey City.
