My husband has taken a job in Raritan, NJ. I have been researching school districts and places to stay on the internet and am completely overwhelmed!
I think I have narrowed school districts down to West Windsor-Plainsboro and Hillsborough schools. I am hoping I will find suitable rentals (new or at least newer with 2+ bedrooms) in these school areas. Are these good choices? Any suggestions/thoughts for specific schools or housing options?
Any other school+housing area suggestions that I might have missed?
yeah, as soon as you offer a budget let us know. I am currently renting a 1BR in Plainsboro with my wife. I work in Raritan as well. It takes me about 50 min - hour depending on traffic to get to the office.
We are moving though the beginning of February but staying within 4 miles in a home now.
I'm thinking a newer rental may be a tough find, but why not stay close to Raritan and go to the Bridgewater schools? I've had many friends and relatives go through the distict with no complaints. Again, new rentals may be hard to find but, you can also look at Whitehouse. No problems with the schools in that district.
Bridgewater
Hillsborough
Branchburg
Readington
Raritan Boro
All are your best bets for easy commute with good schools and a nice selection of homes and apartments but it is NJ and nothing is cheap.
Might also check Montgomery Township, great school district and will cut the commute significantly. Don't know about the availability of rentals though.
The inputs in here really helped me look at areas that I had not previously considered!
I am looking for a 2+ bedroom unit upto 2100/month.
Do the Raritan, Bridgwater, Hillsborough, Branchburg, Readington and Bedminster areas have newer townhouse rental communities?
Any suggestions for good private schools in these areas? What are the fees?
Thanks a bunch!
