I'm planning to file for federal tax extension. Do I need to file for NJ state extension also? I read somewhere that federal extension will automatically extend state filing date for NJ. Can anyone please confirm?
Please also let me know if you know any good CPA in Trenton/Princeton area.
You should remember it is only an extension to file if you owe tax you need to have paid it via estimates. Also the extension is not valid unless you have 100% of last years tax paid or 80% of this years by 4/15/2010
