Hi Guys
First of all, I have to tell you guys I am not American and my English is not good. But I really need help. I would appreciated if you guys understand and don't make fun of me

I am interested get a job as a cocktail waitress in Casino at Atlantic city. I really need you guys advice where to start. I only had experience work as a bartender 3 months in the summer (When I was college student) and used to be reception.

1. Should I apply online or walk in? Which way will have more chance to get hire?
2. Which hotel will you recommend? (employer treat you good)
3. What area is safe to live, most convenience with lot of transportation 24hrs and closest to Atlantic city? I don't have a car now (The closest the better) Please recommend a place, a house Or Apartment for rent. I need place not too expensive but has to be really safe area (This is gonna be first time to live by myself so, I kinda scare...)
4. Should I move to Atlantic first? Or get hire first? (I live South jersey right now)
5. Do you think Cocktail waitress job will pay you enough to survive?

If there is anything else I should know please tell me. Thanks a lot for your time and all recommend. I appreciated. You guys are Awesome!

Yes I am an Asian. I don't like NYC because it's too busy, crazy and very expensive to live. I don't think I can afford it. I went to Atlantic once and I loved it. The reason I want to be Cocktail waitress because I've heard it makes good money. I want to be able to live by myself and survive.

I actually interested work as dealer, host bottle, slot host and even bus person. I want to work in Casino for a while and save money then I will get a better job, better pay if I can.

are you attractive? Matters a lot if you want to get hired as cocktail waitress.

Apply in person at somewhere you know is hiring.

Most Alantic City casino's are laying-off now not hiring..business is slow like all over in NJ.

The Borgata just laid-off 400 workers.

Become a Bar Tender or a Waitress at a restaurant , try Newark, Jersey City , Hoboken , Elizabeth , New Brunswick for Food or Bar openings , even with this economy the Food Industry seems to be coming back.

Vegas baby!

Seriously though, Pennsylvania just expanded their casino industry tremendously with the introduction of table games. Try applying there. Lots of options should be open in Pennsy, I hear a lot of laid off NJ casino workers are considering moving there also. The Poconos is not far from here at all, you might even be able to commute from where you are living right now for a short time to see if you like the working conditions.
