I don't see it that way, not to say he doesn't have national ambitions... I just didn't get the impression Christie asked for that article to be written... simply a writer for another paper who happens to be a Jersey native. There were no quotes in there from Christie, it was apparent Christie wasn't interviewed for the article, nothing in there at all to say Christie even knows he's being written about in D.C.
I believe Christie is attempting to do what's right for NJ. If you're using this article to demonstrate Christie's desire to grow higher, I think you're fishing. He may have political ambitions at the National level, but nothing in this article supports that.

Precisely Kate. I think it's too early on for anyone to consider him for presidential aspirations, though I remember in about 1995 some were talking up Christine Whitman for higher office, which I personally thought was absurd.
