I still remember about 15 years ago I saw something out my window that to this day I swear was some type of UFO. It was close to sunset and this bright light smoothly and slowly went straight up into the sky for a long time until it couldn't be seen anymore. I've investigated many time if there was some type of machine that could go that far up into the atmosphere and I haven't found one. It couldn't of been a helicopter, missile, airline,

ANyone else have any weird stories or unexplained experiences?

I live near North Bergen and it's been a supposed hot spot of UFO sightings over the years.

I'm surprised at the North Bergen stories. North Bergen is very close to NYC and the area is very densely populated. Usually you hear these UFO stories out in the middle of the country somewhere. Teterboro airport would be the closest airport to North Bergen which isn't that far off. UFO's are always a very interesting topic

One time I was driving down the GSP going to Atlantic City with my friend, somewhere between mile markers 60 and 40, and the road was pretty deserted... Well, we looked up and saw a glowing, reddish disc flying across the sky in front of us. It didn't fly like a plane - it would dart back and forth, then hover, then dart around again, and the turns were too sharp to be any kind of airplane or helicopter. There were lights around the edge of the disc which spun quickly. We couldn't believe our eyes! We were laughing, saying that nobody will believe this!!! At one point, the disc started to get lower, and lower, and lower. It finally touched ground in a clearing right off to the side of the parkway. We pulled over, and this huge, glowing red saucer was steaming, and then a door opened underneath, revealing steps...and of course, coming down the steps were some strange creatures, who had long faces with sharp chins and large, large skulls, and large, black, almond-shaped eyes, almost like some kind of reptile. They spoke some weird language, and my friend dared to communicate with them!!! Well, it turns out that our "UFO sighting" was a false alarm - it was just a few Martians who were on their way back to Mars in their flying saucer after doing some rectal probes on farmers in Nebraska, and they were flying through NJ to get some Fat Sandwiches and Jersey deep-fried hot dogs to take back with them. So our little mystery ended up having a very scientific and rational explanation, after all!

Aliens in New Jersey have been well documented for years.

Grovers Mill, NJ. 10/30/1938.....

YouTube - Mercury Theatre, Orson Welles, War Of The Worlds 1/6

There is no doubt that this is true as there is a monument to commemorate this event.

1938 Martian Landing Site Monument, Princeton Junction, New Jersey

You can't make this stuff up!
