Could anyone tell me how is the Van Reypen Street in jersey City, it is 2 blocks from Journal square path station. With Highland avenue on one end & Ship avenue on the other. We have to shift and have no idea about Jersey City.

i would say if your looking in North NJ in my personal opinion if you want a diverse mixture in a safe area with rent 2k and under look in the downtown jersey city section and Hoboken area that will have the biggest mix of young professionals and older generations alike plus alot of fun clubs, bars, and shopping alike if you wanna get more for your money and a great view of NYC try West NY weehawken and palisades you can find luxury rentals their for around 1500 with views of the city and doorman but you will have to use the light rail to commute to the path so your commute into NYC will be a bit longer and more expensive all set aside if you want the best mix of both of these options Being in a cool hip place with professionals and older gen and Luxury with views for half the price of NYC and a very short commute the best place for you in my opinion is Palus Hook or the newport/povonia area of DOwntown Jersey city just if you own a car parking is rough
