Do you know the answer? Looks like somewhere East of Las Vegas looking back West. However, I didn't recognize any of the bison.

One of Ted Turner's ranches is west of Raton, abuts I25 in places and stretches into Colorado. There are bison on that ranch, which are sometimes seen from I25. Perhaps that's the place.

Reminds me of going East on Tramway Road (556) (Going to County Line BBQ) halfway between I-25 and when Tramway turns South. To your left (North) they use to have buffalo herds there frequently about 10 years ago.

That's just a wild guess...

I know the answer.

So far, CAVA1990 is closest. He's even got the bison facing in the right direction. Congrats CAVA1990. Remember, I said 'town'.

Do I get extra points for never having lived there?

Well, I'll put an end to the tingling suspense. These bison reside just outside of Mora.

So is that land owned by Ted Turner, or not?

Must have been a ways out of Mora as the it's a little closer to the mountains as I recall. Last time I drove through, a bunch of Alpacas or Llamas (I can't tell the difference) got loose out on the highway and didn't want to be rounded up, which was entertaining to watch. However, I don't recall seeing the bison, but they're probably not allowed close to town.
