Hunter Wold is right. This one has a pretty good punch to it. In my area temps are gonna start dropping to zero on Tuesday and stay cold till Thursday. Not huge snowfall here, but calling for 6 to 8 inches in the high country.

NBC National news at 5 p.m. was talking about this one believe it or not.

The great thing about NM is that it will likey be back up to 55 deg the middle of next week and all the snow will be long gone except in the mountains where it should be.

It's 19 degrees in Fort Worth, with a forecast low of 8 degrees, with 35+ mph wind gusts. We haven't had such a cold front in 15 years. Not only that, but my electricity went out last night from 4:40 to 7:50 A.M.

It was a balmy 14F at dawn, now in mid-afternoon it's down to 10F here on ABQ's Westside...

Still comfortable inside, but I'm gonna have a hell of a utility bill..
