What are homes selling for per sq.ft. in Gallup? (high crime, to buy)

I was planning on going out to Gallup but if I could get some info before I go it would help. Just wondering what the price per square foot of homes in the northern part of Gallup. I say northern as a friend of mine said the norhern area would be ideal to buy or build. Anyone know or can give me any helpful info? Thanks

NMDillon, have you been to Gallup? If not, I would really research it before making the plunge. It has a very high crime rate, one of the worst in all of NM. The population is decreasing there. Something like -4.1 percent in a five year period. Just make sure you know all about Gallup before moving there.
