I am from Las Cruces and yes, it's just a hop and skip away from Deming, but I know nothing of the area.
My family and I would like to buy 10+ acres and either build or place a ground set manufactured home. We'd like to find land on the "Cruces" side of Deming because my husband works in El Paso and will be commuting every day.
I see lots of land for sale everywhere in Deming for cheap, but a great deal of it has no electricity and/or water.
Can anyone give me an idea of how much a septic system costs installed, a well costs to have drilled and set up to a house, and how much it costs to extend electricity per mile to a home site?
Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
