I moved from Clovis in 1979. What is known as Ned Houk park used to be referred to as Running Water Draw. Who is/was Ned Houk? The Running Water Draw dam had been built prior to my leaving but to my knowledge it held no water. Recent satellite views do not show water. Why is that? The last time I was in Clovis was in 2007. Clovis had changed quite a bit. I worked awhile at Furr's supermarket on Main St. which now appears to be a government building. The Prince St. under pass is gone. One thing I was glad to see still around is the Wienerschitzle (sp?). I miss their chili cheese dogs.
