Let me suggest Las Vegas as a place to look over. Some will tell you that the Hispanics there will not be welcoming, but that is not the way I found the town. For a small place, there is a lot going on.

But I would certainly come here and look over some of the suggestions before making a decision.

I actually am already considering vegas! NV is close to the top, if not the top of my list of places Im looking. Do you live there Devin? What do you like about it?

That is the one I was thinking about -- LV NM. I don't know anything about LV NV except that housing prices have fallen recently.

They have some of the most awesome looking mountains right behind Las Vegas. I'm not sure what they are called but Hermits Peak comes to mind. One of the Northerners would probably kmow.

You can see Hermit's Peak...and also (if I'm not mistaken) the Sangre de Cristo mts..!

I love it up there. I went through Las Vegas to go skiing at Sipapu, 55 miles NW of LV.

And ... the drive from Las Vegas to Santa Fe through Pecos and Glorieta is really pretty country.
