After a super-dry winter, it was nice to see a few flakes this afternoon. Not enough to cover the ground, but the trees looked powdered afterward. It was 35 degrees when I took these photos.
Nice! I don't get enough winter here in Ft Worth, and I'm envious, listening to the thunder and rain. I'm dreading the hot and humid summer...I hope I can make it out to NM this year to visit and look over Timberon.
It snowed again briefly today, then rained a little. I got a face full of mud while mountain biking. Forecast says more snow and rain overnight. I'd love to wake up to a white ground in May.
Sorry, I don't know about Timberon. It's 2,000 feet lower, so I'd bet it's getting rain if anything.
Sorry 'bout that.....it's reallllllly been dry here.
Don't be sorry Sparky, we have had snow in the mountains up here in Santa Fe, and it is grey, overcast, wet and chilly. I LOVE IT! I'm not too worried about this happening very often, but when it does the air smells gooood, and it just feels great.
