And we are still wet! Where's the sunshine!?!?! Huh, you guys PROMISED sunshine! Ignore my earlier post claiming WE bring the rain... we hoped this time, this once, we'd be wrong!

Landed about 4:40 PM and LOVE it (despite the cloud cover) here. Ate dinner at the Blue Corn Cafe and had what??? Puffy sopaipilas (sp??). Will start touring 'round Santa Fe tomorrow and head to Abq late Sat to get a look at the areas around there.

Now - bring on the sunshine and warmer weather as we only brought summery clothes (silly, yanks, I know you are thinking it!).

Yea! Touchdown. You guys have a great time and don't worry about the weather. If you don't like what you see in New Mexico, just give it a few minutes

Soggy - I am not in ABQ currently, but I am an ABQ Weather Geek currently, and today (Thursday) as I told you it would be, was a freak, cool, wet day in ABQ (and even moreso in Santa Fe). It hasn't been this wet / chilly in ABQ in literally eons.

How long are you going to be there? Extended forecasts are calling for SUNNY and HOT in ABQ starting Monday (through Wednesday) with high temps all three days around 90 degrees.

Hang in there...today you encountered a freak day. By the weekend in ABQ it will be back to seasonal ABQ temps - sunny and 70s/80s, and again, by Monday (through Wed.) sunny and hot around 90 every day.

For what it's worth, Soggy, we really do appreciate the weather. It was great 'getting yard work done' weather and the first real day of precip this year. That's no small thing in the high desert.

Soggy is from Seattle and will bring rain wherever he goes. This can be very useful in New Mexico.

Well 60s-70s is warm for us so we packed summer stuff and now... brrr... actually its not bad, I'm just giving you guys a hard time. :-) and the sun is shining so it could be worse. Right?

We'll be here through Tues morning, so we'll get the good weather. Then head back home, a quick trip.

OK - we are off on our mission of scoping the areas (well, breakfast first).

And there's an aspen outside my window... How I've missed aspen.

Not sure when you'll be in ABQ (instead of Santa Fe), but my tracking website has the highs for ABQ coming up to be amazingly nice until getting quite hot towards the end of your stay:

ALBUQUERQUE
Today - High 71
Saturday - High 75
Sunday - High 86
Monday - High 92
Tuesday - High 94

Actually temps-wise, today through Sunday look ideal to me. One you start getting into those mid-90s in ABQ, things get toasty for sure.

Soggy,

I've been posting in the ABQ forum and have missed all your posts. We are from Indiana and will be out in ABQ next week. Please let us know how your experiences went.
