The beautiful, but trustifarian-infested town of Telluride. The road is "Black Bear Road." It is commonly referred to as Black Bear Pass, but the historical name is Ingram Pass. It has a reputation as one of the Southwest's most treacherous 4WD trails, and has had a pretty grisly reputation for fatalities on its west side. I've driven worse, but ranks up there pretty good as a challenge. Oh, and the road where the photo is taken is one of the wider spots on the switchbacks on the west side of the pass. In many places, if you stop, open your door and step out of the vehicle, you may not stop rolling until two or three switchbacks down.
