I have done 3 so far since I've been here. My main concern was the fire dangers and now that they are low, I ask that Mother Nature keeps on blessing us with her water.
She's doing it today for sure and I'm grateful for that as always when prayers are answered.

I wish you could send some of it over to Fort Worth. It's becoming a real drought here, and it's forecast to be 105 F tomorrow. I need to take up rain dancing myself. My yard is turning into straw.

It's a beautiful rain, song - I thank you and the Mother.

My poor laundry though - heh - it's still out on the line. That's what I get for procrastinating!

Sending cooling, rainy thoughts out to Cat and Fort Worth.

This is from our backyard a few minutes ago (now I gotta go dry my head! )
Enjoy -

Nan

105? Oh...lordy. Along with Egglady, I send rainy wishes your way.

It has started raining again here, and it hit just right for my newly mowed lawn. I got up this morning, dreading having to go water (watering restrictions, certain days and hours)...and walking out to a pleasant, slow soaking rain.

Since we are up to 2.39 as of yesterday afternoon YTD, we are still 3 inches below the normal 5.39 for this time of year.

Seems like EP is really getting it.

Anyway, hope you get some soon.

A summer visit to NM might be in order, maybe..?

So far Timberon has gotten 2.14". Great rain, at the rate of .17" an hr.
This is wonderful for the Mts. Sorry Catman, wish you had some.

The weatherman said last night over the last 3 or so years El Paso has become more like San Antonio, and they see the trend only becoming more stable as a norm for the region. I wonder if this is just a cycle that we have here, or if there are climate changes that are making this change?

4 inches of rain since yesterday. The grass is nice and green.
Nice pics, Egglady. I'm also glad to see someone else hangs clothes on the line sometime. I thought I was the only one.
Sorry about the heatwave, Catman. Do yourself a dance and ask the Universe for rain. (This doesn't have anything to do with religion) It's a spiritual thing.
The rest of us: Enjoy the day.
