Is that what they're doing down there? I drove through there last week and thought maybe they had decided to go "green" and simply destroy the pavement and let the remaining road return to the earth.

For what it's worth, a Garmin GPS left unattended will eventually give up somewhere west of Crownpoint with a message along the lines of "We don't know where you are or how long it's gonna take to get whereever you're going....".

Oh man...the pool comment made me actually laugh out loud. You just made my day . A pool in crownpoint? LOL.

New housing is nice, nothing to write home about, but is clean and within walking distance to the hospital. Old housing is "OLD", nothing nice to say other than at least you have a roof over your head.

Pool - would be Farmington or Gallup. Gallup put in a new aquatic center maybe 2yrs ago.

We bought a house in Thoreau. Nothing fancy there either.

Hi,
My family and I will be relocating to CP IHS. Can you please describe the housing? Is it stucco? Are they flats or split level? Are they newer? Appliances? Utilities? On hills? In the city? I was at another IHS and was kinda just wondering? Teen friendly? Is there a college nearby?
