With the recent flooding up there, how are things, you all doing ok, recovery going alright and all that? Seems we all get busy with what were doing or the latest story on the news we forget about yesterdays head line. So I wanted to find out how you all are doing up there.. Hope all is well.

I saw Gov Richardson on tv saying that he approved millions in rebuilding the washed out bridges and roads for Ruidoso as he realises the tourism dollars that supports that part of NM.

Default Recovering nicely

About all you can see is a pile of rubble on Upper Canyon and a new bridge under construction on Center. Of course, a few houses being reconstructed, but otherwise, everything looks good. About 40,000 Harleys last weekend-what a sight!

I was in Ruidoso just three weeks ago and it appears to be all back to normal.

I was there a couple days after and it was fine.
I think the media exaggerates some.
