Condition of CO 555 (York Canyon Road) (Raton: vehicle, map, summer)

Hi all. This summer, Im planning to go to Stonewall, Colorado (The south one thats small), And I want to take CO 555 out of Raton to verjamao road or something like that, and I need to know the condition of said roads (Like topography and if they're paved) . any info is welcomed
ps: On a map the 2nd road runs through ticeo or simmalar to that before entering stonewall from the south.

Correction it follows the vermajo river

Any high clearance vehicle shoud be ok. I would not try it in a Corolla.
