Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics --America's Worst Governors
------------------------------------------------------
•Gov. Haley Barbour (R-MS)
•Gov. Donald Carcieri (R-RI)
•Gov. Jim Gibbons (R-NV)
•Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA)
•Gov. David Paterson (D-NY)
•Gov. Sonny Perdue (R-GA)
•Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX)
Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM)
•Gov. Mike Rounds (R-SD)
•Gov. Mark Sanford (R-SC)
•Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA)
------------------------------------------------------
Individual summaries follow the list of these 11 governors.

--- Note: The list of governors is unranked,
--- and appears in alphabetical order below.

It's a bummer, really.

It's interesting that the three largest states are all
on the list. They make up over 26% of the country.

Just for the record: ( terms January 1 to January 1 )

20 David F. Cargo .......... 1967 - 1971 ..... Republican
21 Bruce King ................ 1971 - 1975 ..... Democratic
22 Jerry Apodaca ........... 1975 - 1979 ..... Democratic
21 Bruce King ............... 1979 - 1983 ...... Democratic
23 Toney Anaya ........... 1983 - 1987 ...... Democratic
24 Garrey Carruthers ...... 1987 - 1991 ..... Republican
21 Bruce King ............... 1991 - 1995 ..... Democratic
25 Gary E. Johnson ........ 1995 - 2003 ..... Republican
26 Bill Richardson .......... 2003 - Incumbent Democratic

I heard on the local news (KOAT or KRQE, can't remember) that Richardson was 11th on that list.
