Thanks, all. We just got home from NO, and she found a great 2/2 in Uptown in a very safe area for a great price. We actually found it by just riding up and down the streets looking for "for rent" signs. It was amazing to see all the different types of places for rent. We probably looked at 20 different apartments, some better than others, some in better locations than others. After riding all around NO for two days, I have a better appreciation for the uniqueness of the city and definitely feel better about my daughter being down there.
