I'm looking for a assisted living/nursing home facility for my mom & dad. Can someone give any recommendation on this?

I've heard about this facility run by the Catholic nuns on the west bank. Are they still there or have moved away after the Katrina hurricane?

I'm not sure if they are still open. There is a place called Woldenberg Village on the Westbank. There might be a waiting list to get in but it's a beautiful facility. You might also look into facilities on the Northshore in Mandeville or Covington.

My wife's grandmother was at Lambeth House (sp?) on river road near magazine. It's a nice facility and the staff was very professional. I would recommend it highly.

MIL was in Chateau De Notre Dame, (nursing home), for a spell. I was impressed with how clean the facility was and the staff seemed to be friendly and caring. It's located Uptown and also owned by the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
