Just wondering if anyone has stayed at a French Quarter hotel recently and liked it. I prefer smaller hotels over chains. somewhere in the $100-$200/night range. Also pet friendly! My pug Walter is coming.

i have summered in new orleans every year my whole life and know it like the back of my hand! The bienville house is an old hotel in the french quarter, nicer, pretty reasonable, and is reputed to be haunted! you should really check it out~

Friends have told me that the boutique Hotel Monaco is great when you have pets on the trip.

that dog is so cute.
is the st peter house hotel still around? I always enjoyed staying there. the price isn't bad either. not sure if pet friendly. google pet friendly hotels and see what pops up.

Love St. Peter House (
it's definitely still around )! But maybe it's a little downscale - ? Small rooms and less than $100.
