Hello all, I to have been certified and selected my development choice in october of 2009.still waiting to be called for a 2 bedroom apt..my priority is N4. I call the delvelopment every month but am told the computer selects the next applicant.
I got my letter to see my apartment . when I got thier they sent my application back saying i needed a bigger apartment... Now i am back on the waiting list
Yes I have actually, but things became very hard on me when I fell ill and first lost my baby brother in 06/2008 and then my dad on 10/2012. And still maintained a job. Not everyone is sitting around doing nothing. I have had apts. It's just the last job that I was working didn't pay well or offer fulltime positions. That's why ppl apply for public housing! Affordable rent! And I went to school and learned 3 different trades.
Nanaalize ,,like the name by the way. How long after you were certified and selected your development choice did they send you a letter to come view your apt ?
i had a interew on month 8 2012 and they send me a letter telling me that they will contact me when a 4 bedroom apartment is ready for me that they will call me before september 2013 will they my apartment ready or what
I have been on the waiting list for a four bedroom apartment since August 31, 2012. it is now February 14, 2013
How much longer will I have to wait or should I choose another development next year?
Hi guys in july if they havent called me It will be 2yrs that I hae been waiting to see a 3 bedroom apartment at the langston hughes projects in brooklyn ...I call every month and they very sweet with me...the last time I called which was on april 5 2014 they said a couple of families where transferring before the summer and that I should hopefully hear from them by then cuz there wasnt a waiting list the problem was just waiting for an empty apartment !!! But I dont loose my faith I know god will soon bless me with my apt :-)
What happens when they call you to look at the apartment? Is there another interview involving paperwork and wait times or do they just show you the apartment and you anticipate a move-in date. I am currently on the waiting list for an apartment at the Ravenswood Projects in Queens.
Thank you in advance! :-)
