Yes I have actually, but things became very hard on me when I fell ill and first lost my baby brother in 06/2008 and then my dad on 10/2012. And still maintained a job. Not everyone is sitting around doing nothing. I have had apts. It's just the last job that I was working didn't pay well or offer fulltime positions. That's why ppl apply for public housing! Affordable rent! And I went to school and learned 3 different trades.

Hello,

What happens when they call you to look at the apartment? Is there another interview involving paperwork and wait times or do they just show you the apartment and you anticipate a move-in date. I am currently on the waiting list for an apartment at the Ravenswood Projects in Queens.

Thank you in advance! :-)
