I was approve in 2012 for a 2 bed. They said im a N4. Now its 2017 i have 3 kids who are going on 8. 2 boys and 1 girl living in the shelter and still no apartment. I just dont get it. 2-6 moths was suppose to be a wait to see an apartment, but its been 4 years for me. By time i get an apartment a 2 bedroom will not be enough space.

I would call them and find out. Do you have to maintain your application current after you get approved?

Default Nycha

My interview process was about a 3 month wait since I had applied. They sent over my application to the housing development that I got accepted to which was on March 27,2015 for a one bedroom for me and my son from the time I had my interview. I call my development almost once a week and they still do not have anything vacant which is so frustrating. March 2018 will make three years and now my son will be 6 not sure if I can apply for a two bedroom ? I may have to go reapply and I do not want too ...NYCHA is soooooo slow I lost hope already

Why don't you apply to a Mitchell Lama rental with a short waitlist instead?

How long after you submitted transfer paper form, did you receive a letter if your transfer was approved or not.
