the computer selection is new, before it was like a first come first served as u apply but now its more like a lottery because the computer picks, example i have been waiting for a year & 2 months and a friend of mind only six months and they r placing her
I'm a Dv victim...I put my application in 08...I was waiting for a development with a vacancy studio...2 years later I had a baby...I had to update them with all the information...now they said I'm on the waiting list for a 1 bedroom vacancy in Bk...I wonder how long will this take?.... They said I'm certified...but they didn't tell me what development I'm going to.
have to say im impressed with the current info. Ladies have you ot your apt since u guys last spoke. I just got my appt in the mail 11.18.11 :/ kind of nervous cause I do not want to be found inelgible . Now i work but my paystubs are so little and i get p/a from welfare. Any body who went on the interviewed and was accepted to nycha please give me pointers and how long you have to wait for your accpetance letter
Yes I got a 1 bedroom. I went to go see the apt and I accepted it. How is your application coming along?
That's great mama! I had my appt on Friday they said to wait 2/3 weeks for a letter stating my app was accepted or not or what more paper work they need from me .. They said if I'm accepted then I qualify for a 4 bedroom do you know how long letter should really take ? My first borough was the Bronx I heard the waiting list isn't that long compared to Brooklyn
