Ok so I just had a home visit....what's next? And what are they checking for? Do this means I have the apartment?

I would say yes. I had my home visit and it lasted about 4 minutes lol. I was informed that my paperwork had been sent for approval a few days prior to my home visit. Basically they're making sure you really reside there and check for anything out of the norm. The guy who visited took my picture, a pic of my room, bathroom and kitchen and asked 4 questions. I think you will get the apartment. Congratulations

People who work want go live near the city and near the train. Too bad there is prime real estate held by the projects for people who don't work or even care to.

That is true... as far as I think City should do more projects in up states rather than blooming in the city.

I just received a letter in the mail for a lottery apartment asking that i send in my information for a credit check. My credit score is pretty low but i dont have any prior evictions on my credit.... I was told they mostly only look for prior evictions is there any truth to this? The only thing thats really on my credit report is my student loans and my few credit cards which are always paid on time. Does anyone have any idea how this will effect my chances?

My credit is bad and I passed the credit check. I was told student loans and medical bills wouldn't hurt me. Good luck

What and how do I file for an appeal? Can someone out there help me? I only have 5 days to appeal.

ps. Do I send the appeal to the same office of my initial interview?

Thank You, in advance!
