I was accepted for an affordable housing apartment. I signed a lease but cannot get the keys until I get
HPD approval. Does anyone know how long that process takes? Talk about anxiety...
What management is this? What's the update did you get a response?

I think you may be misinformed. When you go into to sign paper work for them to submit your application to HPD that is NOT the lease. That is giving the city content to look over your paper work, you agreeing to pay what ever the rent is, You agreeing you provided accurate information etc.

I posted this on the crossroads II thread but I'm going to post here too.
So they sent me to notarize a asset certification and in less the an hour I notarized, scan it back in the system and email. I am not taking any chances but do you guys think that is HDC asking cause they told me I was complete yet now they ask for that?
So if your file goes to HPD you're pretty much getting the apartment? Or can they reject you for something even if the developer finds nothing that would disqualify you on your file?

HPD can still reject you however it doesn't happen all the time.
Also, what's the difference between hpd and hdc? Do they process things differently or have different policies?
