How about someone with a CB preference and the credit and background check was done as well?

Default Non-refundable credit & background check fee

What do they accept for the Non-refundable credit & background check fee? Money Order? Check? What should I bring for that fee. Where do you bring all the paperwork on the day of? I don't see any "location" listed on any of the emailed letters unless I overlooked them. Or where you would see if you are "listed" under CB Preference, City Employee (which I am but I don't see any indications), or other priority?
I've seen people mention that they weren't asked for the employer verification letter at the time of interview even though I see that listed in the required documents.

- lol as you can see this is my first time..

Money order. No check.

They will tell you where to go for the interview when they schedule it. If somehow they leave that out (wouldn't shock me, a LOT of these people are not good at their jobs), respond to the email and ask them. Bring everything on their list. They will want everything on it and probably some other random stuff they forgot to ask for the first time.

If the first interview is the gathering of the documents off their list then what does the second interview (call back) consist of?

There wasn't a second interview just that one paperwork drop off. They did contact me for additional pay stubs / banking documents. I received an email back stating that if they received everything requested, then the file will get sent for approval. Does that mean that developers have said yes to the approval (?) at this point? Do they notify you if your file is being sent to they city for approval? What's the time frame for the HDC approval usually take?

A second interview is usually just them asking for updated documents. It is a *very* good sign, but not a guarantee. HDC wants updated documents, not documents from when you had your first interview six months ago, etc. HDC is basically just a rubber stamp. It's very rare that they deny you an apartment.

I have won two apartments and on one, they did notify me that my file was being sent to HDC but on the other, no.

The best indication is when they run your credit and ask you to come back for a second interview. I'd say there's a 90% chance you'll get the unit.

I went in less than 3 weeks ago for my first interview. And I just emailed them the updated documents this week that's why I'm confused that they want more documents so quickly. And

It seems like all of this has changed with the new guidelines
they now state 2 months from eligibility interview to approval.
i dont see that being the norm , also there is a new form you must fill out at your eligibility appointment that asks about any changes to your original Housing connect application ,it did seem to cut down a lot of extra paper work .
