According to the replies earlier I'm on this very thread we all have to do our part in calling and emailing and harassing them to find out the status of our applications. I haven't called HPD I have called wavecrest and I was told we would hear from them after New Years. I'm gonna give them until next week and I'll start calling again.

the company told me when I called them while looking at the apartment that they had no more units left for me to view. It's either I take the apartment or I have to wait until some else did not go through the process. I already knew what that meant. Take it or leave it. I was fine with that.

They try to rent out the worst apartments first. And since it's a bargain apartment with huge demand, they won't care if the first viewer won't take the apartment because the next person in line will.

We don't know how they start renting them off for sure. I was under the impression that they started from the ground floor up. Who cares I just want that phone call.
