Yeah it's just that I've been applying to lotteries since 2014 & this is the only one that has ever contacted me back & it couldn't happen at a better time but whatever is gods will , will be done .

Just don't think about it my dear they'll get back to us when we least expect it you'll see I've been applying since 2014 also and this is also the first time I've been contacted. It can't be for no reason. Either this is the one for us or they're going to start pouring in from now on. :-)
Hey guys new info. So I contacted HPD because from what I've read after you go to the interview and your file is organized it's sent to HPD for further approval. TOTALLY FALSE according to the agent I spoke to HPD is only in charge of assigning the log numbers according to eligibility. After that the developer is in control of contacting prepective tenants and approving/denying/waitlising them from that's point on. In other words wavecrest has total control over who gets the apartment and who doesn't and I was also told that calling the developers and asking to speak to a supervisor speeds up the process. So long as the status on Nyc connect still says tenant selection in progress there are apartments still left.
I sooo pissed!!! So yesterday I emailed them and I got a responsed today, " Hello , good morning your status says IP so I believe you will be put on a waiting list due to the fact all units are currently unavailable". I don't know the person that contacted me was having a bad day or the apartment are already full??? What does ip stands for? I don't even want to reply back to this person

Thank you, I thought you used a different one. I find it hard to believe every apartment is already taken or we would have all received some type of answer by now. These people are working extra slow.
