I am a lottery winner & was accepted for 7 dekalb & also applied as mobility impaired. HPD wont be able to help you, its HDC (housing,,,,compliance)They are the city tht oversees & handle any complaints for 7 dekalb City point Tower 1.They get to work quickly if you call & complain.Try to call(thy dont always pick up but keep trying) otherwise email thm with all your info, denial letter, Log#, mobility impaired doctor documentation, be very specific etc.The email is hdccompliance@nychdc.com. Did you take any pictures you could share? There's scant info out there on what the studios look like. I've been scanning instagram for them and haven't seen anything that gives you a sense of the layout or size.

Im a lottery winner for a 1 bedrm at 7 dekalb ave. Thnks for posting pics of your apartment. The design/decor market rate apts for 7 dekalb are the same as the lottery apts @7 dekalb.You can view the 35 market rate pic on streeteasy.com by googling 70 fleet St Brooklyn Ny (70 fleet st is 7 Dekalb( market rate units were marketed as 70 fleet st (aka 7 dekalb).

I havent moved into 7 dekalb yet but I will be moving in soon. When I signed my lease for a 1 bedroom management informed me that the landlord pays our electric every month and thn he bills us directly per month for electric (so once you move in the electric will already be working, and you dont have to call to have it turned on). Does anyone who has already moved in know what the average utility bill will likely be per month for 1 person in a studio or 1 bedroom. I would appreciate if anyone living there could give me an idea.Thanks.
