Yes after credit check then it goes to the compliance unit. After that they ask you to come in so you can sign some more paper and look at the apartment. after signing it goes to HPD. After HPD when you’ll approve you sign a lease.

And please note that you need to renew all your documents every 3 to 4 months.

Hi everyone,

Congrats to everyone that got their apts so far. Our interview for a 2br was in mid June 2018. Log# 20xx general population. We are a family of three. Last update and only update since the interview I got was "Still processing lower Log#". I see that jsuaso and BrielleMommy have lower log# than I have, so I wish you guys good luck and hopefully you get your apt soon. Please keep us posted as I will try and do the same. My friend and his family also interviewed for a 2br around the same time as us, but were denied because they were over the income limit. Their interviewer told them there are plenty of 2br available. Fingers cross. Good Luck!

Congratulations

When did you view the apartment? Before HPD approval or when you went to sign paperwork for your file to be sent to HpD?

The compliance unit would that be a leasing specialist? they told me since i have all of my documents in they have turned my file over to a leasing specialist and they will contact me to tell me I am approved. They said they haven't ran my credit yet. Is this true? or since it is in the hands of the leasing specialist does that mean my credit has been approved? they also said i gave to wait for the people with lower log numbers to be processed first then if they get to my log number they will run my credit so im just confused on what is actually happening with my file.

That’s are to different department. The documents that you been forwarding to them, you’re sending it to the lease specialist. Once you done sending documents. You’ll receive a email saying your file is was forwarded to the compliance unit. Once they review it then you go in to sign some documents then it’s forward to HPD

Now what I want to know is when do you see the apartment. Before it’s sent to HPD or after.

Well she said once they get it back from the leasing specialist then they forward it to HPD. Thats why i think this is the compliance unit but i did not get an email about that. Im going to email to find out for sure.

Idk. The person that I been in communication with is the lease specialist she explained to me once I’m done submitting everything it will be forward to the compliance team. They all work differently. I just want to know the outcome already. My anxiety is off the roof
