I am assigned to a 1 bedroom, I was asked if I wanted a 2 bedroom since I qualify for one as well but I passed on it because I was told I would be put on a waiting list for a 2 bedroom since there was none available and they couldn't give me a timeframe of when they would be available.
Update ~ so I called HPD again today after checking in with them last week and they said that there is yet another hold on general population and that I should check in back “in a couple of weeks”. Like forreal???
During interview on Nov. 2017, I was told if I wanted 1 bedroom, I will be in the waiting list, which they will not sent to HPD. So I am waiting for Studio.
Has anyone been assigned a studio and requested to be changed to a one bedroom? And was the request granted?
